Oleoylethanolamide(OEA) in chronic lymphocytic leukemia

A role for Oleoylethanolamide(OEA) in chronic lymphocytic leukemia
As report showed from Masoodi M, Lee E...(Epub 2014 Jan 13.) found high amounts of OEA in the plasma of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) patients, and the magnitude of plasma OEA levels was related directly to the circulating leukemic cell number, based on a mass spectrometry lipidomics platform revealed.OEA from CLL cells was increased by URB-597, an inhibitor of fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH), and decreased by inflammatory mediators that downregulate expression of N-acylphosphatidylethanolamine-specific phospholipase D (NAPE-PLD). So they suggest OEA is a lipolytic factor produced by CLL cells to fuel their growth with a potential role in drug resistance and cancer cachexia.

Wuxi Cima Science could produce Oleoylethanolamide (OEA) 85%-90%fine powder. Please contact our sales team for quotes and samples with any interest.
